Though we would love to assist you with the process, we are unable to do so. Since PMI® is an independent body, they have their own set of regulations and rules which one has to adhere to. We only provide you with the minimum eligibility for the course.

The minimum requirement to appear for PMP® certification is as follows -
• Non-graduates need 5 years or 7500 hours of professional project experience.
• Graduates need 3 years or 4500 hours of professional project experience
• Additionally, every applicant requires 35 hours of formal project management training as well.

The PMP® exam fee is not included in the course fee. You need to pay it separately by registering on the website of PMI®. As of June 2016, the fee for the exam is 405 USD for existing members and 555 USD for non-members. Once you start an online application, you cannot cancel it. The application will remain open for 90 days during which time PMI® will send you an email reminder to complete the application. After fee payment, it is your responsibility to sit for your examination within the one-year eligibility period.

There is no fixed passing percentage. The passing score for all PMI® exams is determined by sound psychometric analysis.

Two versions of the examination are conducted – CBT (Computer Based Testing) which is online and PBT (Paper Based Testing). PMI® has dedicated exam centres all over the world. You need to log in to the Prometric website to see the list of CBT as well as PBT test centres. While for PBT, PMI® announces the date 20 days in advance, CBT exams need to be scheduled by oneself. Scheduling a CBT is easy. For PBT schedule, you may need to wait as a minimum group of 10 students are required to conduct exams at any centre. For CBT exam result is shown immediately on completion of the exam, whereas for PBT exams results are declared 4-6 weeks later.

The certification exam has 200 multiple-choice questions, and you have four hours to complete it. To maintain your PMP®, you must earn 60 professional development units (PDUs) every three years. Attendees will get 4 hours to complete the exam and there are no scheduled breaks during the exam. If you take a break during the exam, your exam clock continues to count down.

The exam eligibility period is one year. You may take the examination three times within this one-year eligibility period, should you not pass on the first attempt. However, please note that a fee of 275 USD for CBT and 150 USD for PBT is applicable for the 2nd and 3rd attempt at the exam. The fee structure is subject to change.
